PRINCE GEORGE – It’s been a gradual move westbound for Mitchell Karapita.

On Thursday, the Prince George Spruce Kings announced Karapita as their new team trainer.

Originally from Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Karapita is a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Health and Physical Education in Athletic Therapy program at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with a staff, roster, and community of this calibre. I know how much the Spruce Kings mean to Prince George and I’m looking forward to begin my career when the team hits the ice this fall,” said Karapita.
