Cochrane Ideas is back tonight.
The local think tank has invited a panel of millennials and other young people to lead a discussion on the unique challenges they face in the modern world.
They will be debating how much responsibility should be placed on the older - and still dominant - demographic of the Baby Boomer generation for the conditions they deal with in every aspect of their lives.
Boomer Legacy will take place on Friday (Nov. 8) at the King Solomon Lodge at 7 p.m. The event is open to the public. Cochrane Ideas would like to extend a special invitation to young men and women to offer their opinions.
One of the featured panelists is Eily Aurora, 33, originally from Cochrane. Aurora studies at Mount Royal University and is a professional harpist, singer-songwriter, producer and facilitator. Aurora found the Home Shall Be Here project, an initiative that aims to focus on connecting people to their body, community and planet.
Several questions will be discussed including: what worried millenials most, climate change, economic inequities, the growing influence of artificial intelligence and the population explosion.
