Hello everybody, my name is Nathaniel Carrington, and I am the new Recreation Director here in Stoughton! I recently graduated from Mount Royal University with a degree in Sports Recreation and Management with a minor in Human Resources back in 2022 and I loved every single minute of it. While in University, I was able to learn valuable skills, knowledge, and gain the necessary tools to succeed in the world of recreation. Once I saw this job online, I felt a bit intimidated looking at it but after talking to the council, staff, and seeing the town I knew that this would be a great fit to grow my skills, and myself. My long-term goals here are to provide opportunities for the community in programming, events, and try to bring everyone closer! My hobbies include sports, competitive gaming, cooking, fitness, and I am looking to expand into hiking! I hope I can make an impact for everyone, and I am excited to meet everyone!
