After a weekend where both MRU hockey teams and men’s volleyball teams swept their opponents, U SPORTS announced the three Cougars teams have claimed a spot in the weekly national rankings. MRU’s women’s hockey held onto their second overall ranking after capturing two wins on the road, extending their winning streak to seven games. The Cougars defeated the TWU Spartans 3-2 in the first game of the weekend, followed by a 2-0 shutout victory on Saturday.
