Brooks: U.S. Consul Independence Day celebration a welcome return

Scores of business leaders, politicians, academics and more gathered on July 7 at the residence of the U.S. Consul to celebrate the 246th anniversary of the Independence of the United States of America. Pandemic restrictions nixed the celebration last year, so it was a welcome opportunity to socially gather at long last and show support for our neighbours.

Hosted by Consul General Holly Waeger Monster with special guest Ambassador David Cohen, the reception featured fabulous fare, libation, musical performances and heartfelt addresses from dignitaries.
