Three Peace Region products will be helping their USports women’s volleyball teams chase a medal in the Canada West bronze medal game Friday night.

The Thompson Rivers University Wolfpack will travel to Calgary to tangle with the Mount Royal University Cougars.

The Wolfpack roster includes Grande Prairie’s Gabriela Podolski and Woking’s Hayley McNaught.

The Cougars have Wanham’s Quinn Pelland in their line-up. Pelland was named a Canada West Second Team All-Star this year.

In Saturday’s gold medal game, the University of Alberta will travel to Langley, BC to face Trinity Western University.

The winner of that gold medal game moves on to Nationals, which will be hosted by the University of Calgary March 13 through 15.

Grande Prairie’s Gabriela Podolski (#7 back row) and Woking’s Hayley McNaught (#14 back row) will also be in the game tonight. Photo from the TRU Wolfpack web site.
